Expert bilingual tour guides and the vocal ensemble AbAntiquo Visincanto will take turns to guide visitors on a “brief journey through the ages of history and art”.
The vocal music will unfold alongside information on the origins and history of the Romanesque treasure preserved in the Bolzano basin, encouraging moments of contemplation of the works of art: amidst frescoes and sculptures, artefacts, furnishings and anecdotal curiosities, the backdrop of sacred music will guide visitors through the atmospheres of the centuries: from Gregorian chant to Renaissance sounds, to the spirituality of the 20th century – from ancient Marian hymns and pilgrimage songs to Palestrina, from Despres to the early 18th century and anonymous masters, from Obrecht and Brumel to folk melodies, from the Taizé school to Javier Busto and Rihards Dubra....
