Shooting star night - observatory

Shooting star night - observatory

This event already took place. (17/08/2024)

Making a wish is in again. If you see a shooting star, you can make a wish - but you can't tell anyone what it is.
At the climax of the shooting star fall of the Perseids, the amateur astronomers "Max Valier" organise an open night at the "Max Valier" observatory.
With your own blanket on the fields around the observatory, it is wonderful to sink into the night sky and count shooting stars.
Visitors also have the opportunity to look through the observatory's telescopes and get a close-up view of exciting objects in the night sky. The amateur astronomers inform visitors about constellations, shooting stars and much more.

Reservations are not necessary and the visit is free of charge.
