Silent Lights 2025 - island of dreams

The SILENT LIGHTS 2025 – Island of Dreams art project invites the public to take a journey of discovery through the winter park at Merano Thermal Baths from 26 December 2025 to 6 January 2026, every day from 5 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. Following on from the great success of previous editions, this year the area in the heart of Merano will once again feature a completely revamped artistic installation.An island of dreams, whose branching paths lead to a game of coexistence.Snapshots of the most diverse dreamlike images illuminate the night-time landscape between pools, meadows and groups of trees. Accompanied by musical notes, they enchantingly inspire young and old alike to dream together and with humour. A fun interaction with art and nature is at the heart of the project. But above all, it is the joy of sincere encounters between people themselves. Smiling dream elves, who populate the island like enchanted fairy-tale creatures, act as charming entertainers. Whether alone, with family, as a couple or in a group, a visit is sure to cheer everyone up and remain in the memory as a very special end-of-year experience.

SILENT LIGHTS 2025 is an art project in the public space organised by the cultural association FABRIK AZZURRO in collaboration with the Merano Thermal Baths, the Municipality of Merano, the Merano Thermal Baths Company, the German Culture Department of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano and the Trentino-Alto Adige Region.
