Sinich - architectural walk

Already in the late 13th century, Sinich was first mentioned in documents as "ze Ursinie" and in 1350 as "von der Sini". However, Sinich only grew to its current size as a result of the fascist settlement policies of the 1920s. The former swamp area had to be drained by the ONC, the Opera Nazionale Combattenti, before they could build the Montecatini fertilizer factory and new stilted farmhouses.
On this architectural walk, we explore Sinich through its various development phases, from the "Borgo Vittoria" and typical residential buildings to works by well-known architects such as Abram & Schnabl, up to the present day.
