Starting at Lake Anterselva 1642 m, the route takes you past the Steinzgeralm, also known as Montalalm, up to the Vogelgrant summit 2277 m. Surrounded by the stunning mountain scenery of the Rieserferner Group to the north and the peaks of the Val Casies Valley to the south, this easy introductory tour becomes a memorable experience.
Backpacking provisions. Difficulty: easy. Time: 08:00 am.-04:00 pm. Altitude difference: 700 m. Lenght: 12.5 km / 2.5-3 h. Meeting point: 08:00 am. at the train station in Monguelfo. Costs: Single tour GP 125 €, 135 €. 3-day package GP 350 €, 360 €. Each additional tour GP 50 €, 60 €.
