After ascending with ski touring equipment or snowshoes, the door of the Maseben Mountain Hut opens and a warm wood stove welcomes you in the crisp winter air. The hut interior is rustic, cozy, and filled with the scent of freshly lit firewood. The hut keeper greets you with genuine hospitality – often with a glass of homemade schnapps, which tastes even better at 2,267 m.
During the à-la-carte hut evening, you can enjoy hearty South Tyrolean dishes, soups, warm specialties, and classic mountain fare.
