Adventurous canyon hike for families
Venture into the canyon carved by the Sorna stream. Equipped with a helmet and headlamp, you will explore ancient mines, suspension bridges over dark chasms, magical caves, and smooth gorges sculpted by the water.
Does your child love adventure and get bored on regular hikes? Do you want to join in the fun with them? Then this trip is perfect for you!
Led by an expert guide, you will start from the small village of Cornè and walk through the woods. You will then descend to the Sorna riverbed, crossing 'el pont del Diaol' (the Devil's Bridge)—an ancient, atmospheric bridge where the stream plunges into a gorge about thirty metres deep. The walk continues down secured steps to the ancient mines along the riverbed.
If you are feeling brave, and if the temperature and water levels permit, you can even take a dip in the natural pools, fully immersed in the Monte Baldo Park!
