On May 9th, 2026, the town square of Sterzing will turn into a true paradise for food lovers from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM: for the very first time, the Sterzing Krapfen Festival will take place!
At the heart of the festival are the beloved Sterzing Krapfen, freshly prepared and available in a variety of flavors. The culinary offer is complemented by other traditional specialties such as Tirtln and Strauben, bringing authentic South Tyrolean flair. Of course, a selection of drinks will also be available.
In addition to the delicious food, several market stalls invite visitors to stroll and browse – perfect for discovering unique items and small gifts. As the event takes place one day before Mother’s Day, it’s the ideal opportunity to find a thoughtful present.
The day will be accompanied by live music, creating a lively yet cozy atmosphere.
