Italian guitarist Lukas Insam proposes a powerful mix of Blues, Funk, Swing and Country. He issued his studio album with Lukas Insam Trio, unreleased works are here recorded as “seriously” arranged covers. He also published the EP "The Live Sessions", live recordet at the Music Club Egna (I). The rebirth of the blues in the past years, be it from the viewpoint of a musical renewal as of the public’s interest, is directly bound to the acquisition of new performing modalities, even if distant from the standards we have been used to. Lukas has performed in Italy and abroad. To be mentioned are the following: New Orleans Festival di Innsbruck, Malcesine Blues Festival, Treviso Blues, Raduno nazionale di Blues a Cerea, An evening with the BLUES, and two tours in Germany (Hamburg). He has taken part in the selections of Torrita Blues and Pistoia Blues. Lukas has performed also with national and international Blues stars, among whom Jimmi Mayes (musician touring and playing with Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Reed, Marvin Gaye and many more!), Kern Pratt, Linda Valori, Junior Robinson, Bill “Howl-N-Madd” Perry and his daughter Shy Perry, Pick Withers (Dire Straits, Bob Dylan, Dave Kelly, etc.), the saxophonist James Thompson (Zucchero), the Jamaican singer Scheol Dilu Miller, Gail Anderson & Markus Linder, and many others...
