Val Casies Valley Almweg 2000 path
South Tyrol, take note: From the 14th to the 17th of September the PATRON CleanUP Tour is going to make a stop in South Tyrol. For four days, every action counts. Of course, we are on board – what about you? Since 2019, Plasticfreepeaks has been organizing CleanUP Days, where volunteers set out to free the environment from litter. Join us and make a difference by our hiking tour to the Almweg 2000! Wide alpine pastures, rushing streams, a magnificent view of the valley and mountains: as the name reveals, the Almweg 2000 leads from alpine hut to alpine hut at an altitude of around 2000m. Cosy places to stop for refreshments on this enjoyable tour. Refreshment stop. Difficulty: medium. Time: 9.00 am.-3.30 pm. Walking time: 3.5 hours in ascent, 1 hour in descent. Difference in altitude: 650m. Meeting point: at 9.00 pm. at the bus stop at the head of the valley in Val Casies Valley/S. Maddalena. Costs: free. Online booking or directly at the Tourist Office.
