The Dolomites awaken. Hike to the panoramic mountain Monte Specie/Strudelkopf 2307m on the Prato Piazza high plateau in the Valle di Braies Valley. An amazing sight when the first rays of sunlight of the day hit the famous Three Peaks, the Valle di Braies Dolomites, the Cadini Group, Monte Cristallo, Tofana and Marmolada.
Bring along: good hiking shoes, warm clothing, hat and gloves, backpack provisions and a warm drink. Difficulty: easy-medium. Time: ca. 4 hours. Walking time: 1,5 hour ascent, 1 hour descent. Difference in altitude: 330m. Meeting point: bus stop in the Via Stazione in Monguelfo (opposite Bar Parkcafé). Departures time will be announced upon registration. Costs: 15€ with Guest Pass Val Casies Valley-Monguelfo-Tesido, 25€ without Guest Pass Val Casies Valley-Monguelfo-Tesido.
