The enchanting Sorapis Lake

Often visited base in the centre of the Sorapis Group in the Ampezzo Dolomites. The intense colours of Lake Sorapis impress every visitor. In the middle of magnificent rocks, the shelter Rifugio Vandelli is located. Surefootedness is necessary for the approach. The starting point is the Passo Tre Croci, located between Misurina and Cortina d'Ampezzo.
Difficulty: medium. Time: 7.30 am.-4.00 pm. Walking time: 4 hours. Difference in altitude: 200m. Departures: 7.30 am. at the bus stop at the end of Val Casies Valley/S. Maddalena, 7.35 am. Val Casies Valley/S. Martino, 7.45 am. Val Casies Valley/Colle, 7.55 am. Tesido, 8.00 am. Monguelfo bus station in Via Stazione (opposite the Bar Parkcafé). Costs: 10€ with Guest Pass Val Casies Valley-Monguelfo-Tesido, 25€ without Guest Pass Val Casies Valley-Monguelfo-Tesido.
