Three Countries Tour

In late June, some 3,000 competitors coming from 30 countries will cycle across the Three Countries of Austria, Italy and Switzerland at one of the largest public cycling events in Europe.
The annual Dreiländergiro Three Countries Tour is one of the largest public cycling events in Europe with some 3,000 competitors coming from 30 countries around the globe. Participants have the choice of two different routes: Route A – the customary route – leads through a very demanding 168 kilometers with a nasty 3,300 vertical meters and an incline of up to 15 percent. The route travels from Nauders across Stilfserjoch Col, Umbrail Pass and Ofen Pass back to Nauders. Route B leads from Nauders across Stilfserjoch Col and Umbrail Pass to St. Maria and back to Nauders via Upper Vinschgau Valley. Consisting of 120 kilometers and 3,000 meters of elevation gain, this route is a great challenge as well. The Dreiländergiro Three Countries Tour is part of the Giro Days event series, which begin a few days earlier.
