"Tour of the Alps" - Innsbruck

Riders must tackle more than 700 kilometres and 14,700 metres of elevation gain during the five-day Tour of the Alps, including some challenging mountain climbs. The international line-up of participants promises exciting days of racing. For many professional cyclists, this cross-border tour through Tyrol, South Tyrol, and Trentino serves as the final fine-tuning before the Giro d'Italia and has become a vital fixture on the European road cycling calendar. With two stage starts in North Tyrol, the race highlights the region's scenery and provides plenty of inspiration for amateur cyclists to explore the routes themselves.
