The Tschirgant (2,370 meters) between the Inntal and Gurgltal valleys near Imst in Tyrol attracts professional trail runners from the world elite every year. The reason for this is the two-day "Tschirgant Sky Run" with five different competitions.
Those who opt for the longest route, the ultra run (TS52) with a length of 52 kilometers and 3,500 meters in altitude, not only have to be in good shape, but also sure-footed. More than eleven kilometers of the route alone run over the ridge or ridge of the Tschirgant. The TS26 variant (26 kilometers, 1,900 vertical meters) also leads through alpine terrain. Runners can expect easier terrain on the 42 and 16-kilometre routes (TS42 and TS16).
One of the highlights is the "Rosengarten Nightrace". It leads 2,000 meters and 250 vertical meters through the mystical Rosengarten Gorge. Children can take part in the Sumsi children's race.
