Vertical Carezza: Mountain running

Vertical Carezza - the name says it all! From the blossoming mountain meadow up to the Rosengarten/Catinaccio into the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage.
Once a year, in August, the Hut Frommeralm (1.743 m) in Karersee/Carezza is the meeting point for runners to conquer around 900 metres of altitude on a course of approx. 3,3 km. The route of the mountain run first leads over a forest and meadow slope to the Kölner Hütte/Rif. Fronza alle Coronelle and then on a trail uphill over white Dolomite rock of the Rosengarten/Catinccio and to the Tschagerjoch/Passo delle Coronelle (2.630 m).
