After the Enduro and E-Enduro World Championships, Canazei is confirmed as a battleground for the planet's best riders in 2025, hosting the 9th stage of the top international circuit.
WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series 2025: 16 race weekends, 18 stages in 10 countries, 8 of which are in Gravity formats. Italy is confirmed as a home for the Enduro World Cup with 3 out of 8 rounds on the calendar. The season opens in Pietra Ligure, then continues from 27 to 29 June in Canazei, which returns as a protagonist after hosting the Enduro and E-Enduro World Championships in 2024, before passing the baton to Val d’Aosta in July.
The Whoop UCI Mountain Bike World Series, organised by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) Sports, represents the highest level of off-road competition. Enduro has changed over the last ten years, but in Val di Fassa its DNA remains the same: technical, physical, and uncompromising. Here, every metre of trail is a challenge: demanding descents, physical sections, and significant elevation changes test even the most experienced riders. The race theatre is the Fassa Bike District, at the foot of the Sella, Pordoi, and Marmolada massifs, extending through the areas of Ciampac (Alba di Canazei), Belvedere (Canazei), and Col Rodella (Campitello). As per regulations, final variations and details on the routes will only be revealed a few hours before the start, increasing the unknown factor and adrenaline of the competition. What is certain, however, is that Titans, Infinity, and TuttiFrutti will be the most iconic, challenging, and decisive trails for the podium. The best riders on the planet, in both male and female categories, will compete for the title across 5 special stages, on a course of approximately 40 km with a negative elevation change of almost 3000 metres.
The public will be able to fully experience the event, thanks to a rich programme of side activities and a course accessible to spectators. Cable cars, gondolas, and chairlifts will allow people to follow the special stages from the trackside with views of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites. The beating heart of the event will be the "Ciasates" area, near the Dòlaondes Aquatic Centre, with the village, team paddocks, and expo area, just a short walk from the Canazei-Pecol gondola, a strategic access point for the race.
All the ingredients for an unmissable spectacle are present: the circuit's top teams and riders, duels decided by hundredths of a second, team trucks with the best mechanics at work, major bike industry brands, and, naturally, a world-class course on the trails of the Fassa Bike District. The event also stands out for its attention to sustainability, with the Eco Eventi Trentino PRO certification. A concrete commitment to reducing environmental impact and involving athletes, the public, and partners in eco-friendly initiatives.
