A spring walk through the awakening landscape around Brixen is more than fresh air and gentle exercise – it is a journey into flavour and craftsmanship. Between blossoming meadows and the first warm rays of sunshine, you’ll discover fascinating insights into local cheese, wine and spirits, and learn about tradition, maturation and character.
We call in on the renowned affineur Hansi Baumgartner. With passion and a finely tuned instinct, he transforms his wheels of cheese into true personalities – and these are the very ones we taste.
On the way back, another discovery awaits. At the Knöspele distillery, you’ll step into the art of distilling, take a look behind the scenes, find out how fruit becomes refined spirits – and taste some.
