Extradanza – The great dance celebration in the city
ExtraDanza returns for its second edition: an open, community celebration of dance, part of the Bolzano Danza festival programme. Following the success of the first edition — which brought together over 200 artists and more than a thousand spectators — the Talvera Meadows once again become a great open-air stage.
The format, inspired by the 1 km de danse of the Centre National de la Danse in Paris, was conceived by Anouk Aspisi and Olivier Dubois in collaboration with the Südtiroler Kulturinstitut (SKI), which coordinates and manages the festival's workshop programme. Admission is free.
ExtraDanza offers thousands of dance enthusiasts the chance to transform a unique location in Bolzano's urban geography into a large open-air stage — a meeting point for all those who experience dance as a universal language and wish to share it with others.
The programme includes performances by regional and international groups and artists
