Actress and filmmaker Leni Riefenstahl is regarded as one of the most controversial women of the 20th century. Her iconic visual worlds in films such as TRIUMPH OF THE WILL and OLYMPIA stand for a perfectly staged cult of the body, for the celebration of the superior and victorious. And at the same time, for what these images do not tell: the contempt for the imperfect, for the supposedly sick and weak.
