Today, the Civic Band of Selva di Val Gardena is a key part of the village’s cultural life. Its performances – including concerts, parades, religious processions, and musical accompaniment during church celebrations – are highly appreciated by the local community.
In addition to traditional marches and classical pieces, the repertoire increasingly includes original compositions for wind orchestra as well as modern works by contemporary composers.
Over the years, the band has taken part in numerous competitions, consistently achieving excellent results. It currently consists of around 40 musicians.
