May 3 is Overshoot Day in Italy: from this day onward, the resources that the Earth can regenerate in one year are depleted. As part of #MoveTheDate, OEW draws attention to the consequences of our high consumption of resources.
On this occasion, and in collaboration with the Siusi Youth Group, the Visitor Centre of the Sciliar‑Catinaccio Nature Park is organizing a games corner and a bingo event with prizes.
During the games, participants can collect points. Based on the score achieved, they will then have the opportunity to “save” food by choosing from a selection of products that are close to their expiration date and provided by local businesses.
