On July 12, the Orfeo Music Festival presents Echoes Across Time in Vinzentinum’s Parzivalsaal, a sonata evening shaped by memory, lyricism, and bold musical character. The program brings together music that speaks across centuries, from Firtich’s rarely performed Sonata-Fantasy for viola and piano to Beethoven’s radiant Spring Sonata, Schubert’s beloved Impromptu in G-flat major, and Rebecca Clarke’s passionate Sonata. Featuring acclaimed violist Ilan Schneider, Netanel Pollak, Sophie Greis-Pollak, Routa Kroumovitch, Kirill Gliadkovsky, and Lorna Griffitt, the concert offers a refined and expressive journey through works of intimacy, imagination, and dramatic force. In the atmospheric Parzivalsaal, these artists bring together the familiar and the unexpected in an evening of rare musical depth.
