The Eggentaler Dorfkuchl brings traditional, almost forgotten dishes from Eggental | Val d'Ega back to the table, while reinterpreting some of them in new ways.
Farmers and chefs from Eggental | Val d'Ega prepare recipes that were once a natural part of everyday cooking but are now rarely found. With their knowledge and passion, the farmers from Welschnofen | Nova Levante, Deutschnofen | Nova Ponente and Steinegg | Collepietra bring the culinary traditions of Eggental | Val d'Ega back to life. The culinary experience is complemented by creative chefs who reinterpret selected dishes in a modern way and refine them with new accents – including Thobias Pardeller from Franzin Alm, Reinhard Daverda from Hotel Pfösl, Philip Lochman from Hotel Engel and Gregor Eschgfäller from the Gourmet Restaurant Astra.
The ingredients used in the dishes come 99% from Eggental | Val d'Ega. The drinks are also entirely local: from homemade juices prepared by the farmers, to beer from the two breweries Latemar Bier and Nöppbräu, and wine from the wineries Pitzner and Gojer.
Taste your way through the different culinary stations at the festival square in Welschnofen | Nova Levante. The musical atmosphere will be provided by the young brass band “Karerbrass”.
