Fires in honour of Jesus
This event already took place. (9/06/2024)
South Tyrol boasts a special kind of event. High up in the mountains, huge figures are made out of fire, the so-called “Herz-Jesu-Feuer” (literally: fires for the heart of Jesus). Beautiful crosses and hearts of fire and glowing chains are seen all along the mountain ridges.
The figures of fire can be seen after dark.
