Garda Trentino Foil Days

The first edition of the Garda Trentino Foil Days is a new event celebrating speed, innovation, and water sports culture in Garda Trentino, bringing together competition and a festival in one big gathering.

The lakeside promenade in Torbole provides the setting. This landmark location has shaped the history of water sports and continues to attract champions, brands, and innovators from around the world as an open-air laboratory for talent and innovation. The sporting heart of the event features the classic formats of the Circolo Surf Torbole: the One Hour Classic Fin & Foil and the One Hour Wing.

The One Hour Classic is the most famous regatta of the Circolo Surf Torbole and was first organised in 1989. The format is simple yet spectacular: the winner is the windsurfer who completes the most legs – crossings of the lake between Conca d’Oro and Casa della Trota – in one hour. This challenge of endurance, strategy, and speed has become a legendary event for European windsurfing over the years.

Alongside the windsurfing version, the One Hour Wing has also established itself. It brings the same endurance format to the wingfoil discipline, which is currently one of the most dynamic and fastest-growing water sports.

A foil festival comes to life around the regattas, featuring an event village with exhibitors, leading industry brands, top athletes, and guest speakers. There are areas for gear testing, product launches, and direct discussions with manufacturers.
