From the Schmiedlhof farm, we hike along the contemplation trail with the seven sacraments to St Jacob's Church with its Romanesque frescoes, which are well worth seeing. The hiking trail leads through dense deciduous and mixed forest to Obersirmian and the church of St Apollonia. The view of the surrounding area from the hill is impressive, especially the view of the Catinaccio and the Sciliar. We then descend slowly through woods and meadows to Nalles/Nals and return to Lana by bus.
