Guided hiking tour: Schneeberg mine

From the Timmelsbrücke bridge in the rear Passeiertal valley, we hike along the ‘Tiroler Höhenweg’ trail through beautiful forest on a moderate incline. The last section to the higher Schneeberg mine (approx. 250 m) is somewhat steep with small switchbacks, where we enjoy the snacks we brought with us and then hike leisurely back to the Obere Gostalm and on to the Timmelsjoch road.
Elevation gain: approx. 600 m
Walking time: 4.5–5 hours
