Hohe Salve Alpine Cattle Drive

The four villages and municipalities at the foot of the Hohe Salve truly celebrate their cattle. The evening before the alpine cattle drive, a big celebration takes place at the "Tyrolean Evening" in Hopfgarten, featuring Tyrolean music and dance performances. On the day of the alpine cattle drive, you can witness the arrival of the elaborately decorated cattle in four villages. The atmosphere also becomes lively while strolling through farmers' markets and sampling regional delicacies.
