The Innsbruck Festival Weeks of Early Music present sounds ranging from the Middle Ages to the early Classical period, performed at approximately 30 historical venues in and around Innsbruck. This renowned festival, led by artistic director Eva-Maria Sens and musical director Ottavio Dantone, annually features both emerging talents and established artists.
The programme includes operas, chamber concerts, open-air events, lunch concerts, workshop formats and discussions. A popular highlight is the Cesti Competition for Baroque Singing, where young vocalists compete for monetary prizes or engagements at prestigious venues.
Some events offer free admission, while others have tickets available in various price categories.
