Four musicians meet a storyteller. The result is a joyful, vibrant, and daring blend of music and narrative. The program includes works by old masters, jazz, swing, blues, and a few surprises. The Brass’n Sax ensemble is made up mainly of musicians from the Joe Smith Band, led by Peppi Haller, also known as Joe Smith. Chris Haller enchants on saxophone, Walter Plank shines on trumpet, Peppi Haller sings on trombone, and Toni Pichler grooves on tuba. Heike Vigl skillfully leads the audience into another world, creating vivid images with her words.
