“LATEMAR – Wild Beauty”
Multivision presentation by Valentin Pardeller
The Latemar is a striking mountain group on the edge of the Dolomites, known for its wild beauty, unique geology, and cultural richness. In this immersive multivision presentation, Valentin Pardeller captures the essence of this remarkable region through powerful imagery. The story begins with the geological origins of the Latemar, once a coral reef, and explores the old mining tunnels that tell of a long-forgotten past. The Latemar's role as a linguistic boundary is highlighted, along with its dramatic rock formations and distinctive alpine flora. The forest of Latemar is presented as a source of fine tonewood for musical instruments. Finally, the legend of the mermaid of Lake Carezza adds a touch of mystery to this breathtaking landscape.
The presentation “LATEMAR – Wild Beauty” is held exclusively in German and Italian.
