The concert marks the festive conclusion of the Merano Academy's ‘Winter Stage 2026’ master class, organised by the AMATÉ cultural association. International soloists from seven nations will lend this evening a special artistic diversity and expressiveness:
Akane Tamura (Japan), Loana Ayuso (Argentina), Anna Barletta (Italy), Emmi Kaijansinkko (Finland), Anastasija Karpenko (Ukraine), Irene Köfele (South Tyrol) and John Sweeney (USA) will perform an atmospheric programme of sacred arias and ensembles.
The programme includes works by important composers such as Alessandro Stradella, Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy and Richard J. Sigmund. In addition to well-known masterpieces from the Baroque and Classical periods, rarely heard compositions will also be performed – a multifaceted musical arc that brings the spiritual atmosphere of the Capuchin Church to life in a special way.
