Due to the Covid pandemic, we could not celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Gustav Mahler Music Weeks in summer 2020. However, we do not want to miss out on this joy, so we will dedicate the 2021 edition of the "Mahler Dialogues" to this important anniversary. Of course we want to remember together the great moments of the past years, but we also want to reflect and discuss how Mahler has been received in the past decades and how the Music Weeks have contributed, and continue to contribute, to this process. Finally, we would like to turn to the future and present our ideas and plans regarding Mahler and Toblach.
