Semirurali Social Park 2026: from May to October, the park transforms into a vibrant space of culture, sport, music, and community.
The new edition of the Semirurali Social Park is officially under way. This project, promoted by BeYoung as part of the wider Bolzano (Bozen) Social Park 2026 programme, will bring the Semirurali Park to life from May to October with a packed calendar of free events open to everyone.
The project aims to enhance Semirurali Park as a community asset, a place for gathering, participation, and living together. The programme is designed to involve children, young people, families, adults, and seniors. It has been developed alongside numerous local associations, which will turn the park into a shared space for culture, socialising, well-being, and inclusion.
The 2026 edition features six months of activities, including concerts, theatrical performances, open-air cinema, art workshops, sports activities, cultural talks, creative workshops, children's readings, intercultural events, and moments dedicated to collective memory and social participation.
Highlights include the Südtirol Jazzfestival Alto Adige concert, outdoor film screenings with “Il Rospo e il Diamante”, the “Bolzano Tante Storie” storytelling series, and musical events featuring the Banda Mascagni, the G. Verdi Lyric Choir, Music Hub Italy, Direzione Ostinata, Note Originali, and youth bands supported by Bluspace and COOLtour. There will also be dance performances, stand-up comedy, and interactive activities like a Drum Circle, comic strip workshops, events celebrating Brazilian culture, sports activities, and neighbourhood initiatives.
Special attention is paid to the community side of the project. Activities range from children's readings to social sewing workshops, outdoor exercise sessions, intergenerational dialogues, and inclusive initiatives focused on active citizenship and cultural diversity.
The Semirurali Social Park thus continues to be a community hub that makes public spaces safer, more accessible, and more vibrant, thanks to the collaboration between associations, local institutions, and residents.
