Opening Night Afterparty
The opening night of the Südtirol Jazz Festival closes with an afterparty at Batzen Sudwerk Ca' de Bezzi in Bolzano, featuring two very different but equally compelling acts to keep the energy going well into the night.
First up is Elektro Guzzi, the cult Viennese trio that has been redefining techno as an instrumental group for over twenty years, using guitar, bass and drums. Their sound creates a precise interplay between the energy of analogue live performance and layered sonic structures. Presence and abstraction meet in a subtle balance that favours complex detail over sheer volume. A musical experience that brings together groove and texture, proving just how timeless electronic music played with real instruments can be.
Taking over the decks is ALPI, aka Daniele Alessi. When ALPI plays, technical skill and pure joy of playing merge into something immediate and captivating. His sound blends deep house vibes and organic grooves with a touch of techno, unfolding like a shared journey. With a natural instinct for reading the moment and the crowd — without ever pandering to the mainstream — ALPI delivers a confident mix full of soul.
