String music at the highest level with Sebastian Bohren (violin) and Heinz Holliger (oboe and conductor) at the Lengmoos Community Hall at at 9 p.m., Price: € 25, reduced over 65 years: € 20, under 26 years: € 10.

J. S. Bach: Concerto for Oboe d’amore in A major, BWV 1055.
Frank Martin: Polyptyque for violin and two small string orchestras.
Arthur Honegger: Symphony No. 2, H 153.
String Academy of Bolzano/Bozen: Founded in 1987 by artistic director Georg Egger, the String Academy of Bolzano has a nearly 40-year history. The renowned ensemble is composed mainly of musicians from South Tyrol, all of whom bring extensive experience from leading chamber and orchestral groups in Italy and abroad.
