Sunrise on top of Monte Specie

Hike to the panoramic mountain Monte Specie-Strudelkopf 2307m on the high plateau Prato Piazza in the Braies Valley. A magnificent sight when the first rays of sunlight of the day hit the famous Three Peaks, the Braies Dolomites and Monte Cristallo. Bring along: good walking shoes, warm clothing, hat and gloves, warm drink and snacks.
Difficulty: easy.
Time: ca. 4 hours.
Walking time: 1,5 hour ascent, 1 hour descent.
Difference in altitude: 310m.
Costs: 15€ with Guest Pass Val Casies Valley-Monguelfo-Tesido, 25€ without Guest Pass
