The distinctive feature of New Orleans is its extraordinary cultural diversity. Real Soul of Gospel embody the true spirit of this diversity. With deep gospel roots in New Orleans, this musical group reflects the city’s uniqueness and style, especially during live performances. Made up of gospel singers from the southern United States, the group began performing on the streets and in churches from an early age. Pearlie Tyler, Deborah V. Larkins, Paula Granger, Lynn Williams, and Angela Dunn all come from families within the local gospel community.
