Lovesick is a contemporary rock & roll band that blends country with western swing. The project was formed in 2015 by guitarist and singer Paolo Roberto Pianezza and double bassist Francesca Alinovi, but they will be performing as a quartet at the Sudwerk.
In recent years, they have appeared on national TV programmes, performed as opening acts for stars like Zucchero and Ben Harper, and have been regulars at the Umbria Jazz festival for three editions.
They were nominated for the 2024 Ameripolitan Music Awards in Austin, Texas, in the Western Swing band category.
