Wafaa Amer – I Am Wafaa

Wafaa Amer presents her book "Io sono Wafaa" (Solferino) in a moderated conversation. The author grew up in Aghur, a remote village in Egypt, and came to Italy at the age of nine, where she discovered climbing. To pursue this passion, she had to challenge both her family and her culture of origin. In the conversation, she traces a personal journey across geographical and cultural boundaries, shaped by questions of identity, courage and the search for freedom.
