Val Gardena Folklore Festival

On the first weekend of August, the traditional Val Gardena costume parade takes place. The five local brass bands, the traditional costume association, and various folk dance groups participate in the event. After the parade through the center of Selva, a grand concert by the brass band takes place in the town square. Food and drinks are provided by the local community association of Selva di Val Gardena.
The traditional costume parade starts at 4:00 PM above the town square and follows Nives Street to the intersection at Hotel Krone. From there, it continues along the main road, passing Nives Square, and returns to the town square.
