The Konzertverein Bozen presents an evening with the Estonian vocal ensemble Vox Clamantis, conducted by Jaan-Eik Tulve, at the Dominican Church.
Founded by Tulve in 1996 and Grammy Award-winning, the ensemble brings together twelve singers united by a shared passion for early polyphony and contemporary Baltic music. Vox Clamantis is widely praised by critics and audiences alike for its distinctive sound and deeply expressive interpretations.
The programme spans approximately 1,200 years of music history: Gregorian chants and works by Guillaume de Machaut are set alongside Arvo Pärt's «Missa Syllabica», composed in 1977, at the time when Pärt had just developed his signature Tintinnabuli style.
