Discover the special features of the local Ladin architecture and get interesting information about the centuries-old history of the valley and the daily life of the farmers.
From the centre of S. Cristina you first reach the starting point of the short hike by bus. There are several traditional farmhouses worth seeing to discover along the way. Via the newly built path "Troi de Frëines" you will then walk downhill towards S. Cristina.
Along the trail, visitors can also observe the birds of the themed path “Uciei de Frëines,” which provide an engaging insight into the local wildlife.
After lunch you will join a guided tour of the Paratonihof farm, offering the whole family an exciting excursion into the past and you will be served a delicious traditional dessert.

PLEASE NOTE: Until June 26th and from October 2nd there is no lunch break at a mountain hut, we therefore ask you to bring a packed lunch.
After lunch a traditional dessert is served at the Paratoni farm.

We recommend arriving by public transport (bus stop Municipio/Rathaus).
Alternatively, the nearest parking is the Car Park Calonia – opposite of Hotel Posta (approx. 5 minutes on foot) or the Car Park Center Iman (approx. 10 minutes on foot).
