Alpine Folk Music Evening: "Allgäu Greets South Tyrol"
On Thursday, October 9, 2025, the Raiffeisensaal at the Thalguterhaus in Algund will be transformed into a venue filled with the sounds of traditional alpine music.
Starting at 8:30 p.m., you can look forward to an evening of authentic folk music from the Alpine region, performed by outstanding music groups from Allgäu and South Tyrol.
Performers include:
The locals: Tanzlmusig Algund
Ultner Männerchor (Men’s Choir from the Ulten Valley)
Barbara Plattner on the harp
Yodel duet "Duesch mit"
String music group Kern
The evening will be hosted by Barbara Plattner and Hannes Hitzelberger.
Both locals and guests are warmly invited to share in this special experience.
Admission is by voluntary donation.
The South Tyrolean Folk Music Association – Burggrafenamt District and the Algund Tourist Office look forward to welcoming you and wish you an enjoyable evening!
