Join us on a gentle hike through the wild and romantic Tschamin Valley – one of the most untouched gems of the Dolomites. Together with our hiking guide Julian, you'll explore not only breathtaking scenery but also hear fascinating stories about local life, including the traditions of the mountain people, the legend of the “Saures Wasserle,” and more.
We'll take a relaxing lunch break at the scenic “right Leger” before heading back to the Tschamin Schwaige, where a well-deserved refreshment awaits.
To round off the day, we’ll visit the Nature Park Information Center at the historic Steger Sawmill. Although the old Venetian saw is currently out of service due to storm damage, the exhibition is open and well worth a visit. You’ll find insights into traditional alpine craftsmanship, local geology, and the region’s flora and fauna – all presented through interactive displays, audio stations, and a small film room.
