The Max Valier Symposium on May 16, 2025, will feature distinguished guests such as Reinhard Genzel, Nobel Prize winner in Physics 2020, Roberto Battiston, former ASI president and space physicist, Thomas Reiter, ESA astronaut with over 350 days in space, and a special contribution from Romana Fuchs Mayrhofer, daughter of Manfred Fuchs. The event is part of the Max Valier Weeks 2025, two weeks of public events dedicated to astronomy, rocketry, and space exploration, including lectures, exhibitions, films, astronomical observations, roundtable discussions, and meetings with scientists and astronauts. A unique opportunity to bring young people, families, enthusiasts, and curious minds closer to the fascination of space, on a journey through science, history, and the future. The event is organized by the MUA – Movimento Universitario Altoatesino in collaboration with the South Tyrol Museum of Nature, with the support of renowned partners in science, education, and media.
