A cross-country skiing revival featuring historical equipment on a 10 km route from Pozza to Canazei.
Usually hosted at the Lago di Tesero Cross-Country Ski Centre, this year – with the Olympics approaching – Marcialonga Stars moves to Val di Fassa, to Pozza, in the Ciancoal (Fraine) cross-country skiing area. This is not a competitive race, but a gathering for those who love cross-country skiing 'like in the old days', amidst historical equipment, vintage details, and an atmosphere that evokes tradition. To participate, skiers must be equipped with skis predating 1976 and 75 mm bindings; boots, poles, and clothing must also be consistent with the era and the discipline. The route is approximately 10 km long and leads to Canazei, where the finish line is located, with a refreshment stop along the way.
