A promotional cross-country skiing race for young people aged 12 to 16.
Usually held at the Lago di Tesero Cross-Country Ski Centre, this year – with the upcoming Olympic Games – the Marcialonga Young moves to Val di Fassa, specifically to Pozza, in the Ciancoal (Fraine) cross-country skiing area. This promotional race is organised in collaboration with the Unione Sportiva Cornacci Tesero, included in the national calendar and open to youth categories: Ragazzi, Allievi, Aspiranti, and Juniores (M/F). For 16 editions, this event has promoted youth sport and encouraged cross-country skiing, giving young participants – who are not yet eligible for the Marcialonga di Fiemme e Fassa – the chance to compete on a 4, 5, and 7.5 km course, inspired by the traditional track. Award ceremonies will take place at the end of the races.
